NJEJA invites community members to our Waste Justice Community Listening Sessions. EJ communities in NJ are heavily impacted by waste injustices, such as trash burning, which affects their health, livelihoods, and well-being.
The purpose of these sessions is to listen to what EJ community members have to say about waste-related injustices and issues they are experiencing in their communities. We will provide an open and safe space to ensure folks feel secure and comfortable sharing their experiences.
Our hope is that this information will inform the contents of NJEJA’s Waste Justice Workshop Series, which will be held in the same EJ communities and serve as a source of technical assistance, knowledge, and information communities can use to advocate for themselves.
